Successful Engineering Leader with experience building enterprise and commercial products focused on providing customer and user value. I foster a “team” environment within engineering and across the organization, define and institute processes to improve efficiency, and work to build leaders. My experience includes the latest cloud and mobile technologies, data analytics, authored two books, invented a patent on object-relational persistence technology, and teaching computer science at Boston University. My focus over the last several years has been in retail using AI and machine learning to identify fraud and operational inefficiencies. More recently, I concentrated on order fulfillment to enable retailers to offer “same day” and “next day” delivery services.
