Marketing leader with 15 years of experience in product marketing, community building and brand engagement for Consumer and SMB technology companies. I led the Community and Programs team at Sequoia Capital, focused on designing and implementing resources, experiences and learning opportunities for Sequoia portfolio founders. Prior to Sequoia, I was a Global Lead for Brand Programs, leading a team of +40 cross functional marketing and product experts with six direct reports. The team worked together to build regionally sensitive engagement programs that boost the economic development of consumers and small and medium businesses using Facebook. Previous to this role, I worked as a Product Marketing Lead for Groups and Messenger as well as the Program Lead for Facebook Community Summits. As the lead for the Facebook Community Summit Program, I led a large, cross-functional team of 60+ that develop the strategy, content and execution for Facebook admin activation events. While at Yahoo, I supported consumer apps and mobile-first initiatives across the board, including Yahoo Search, Yahoo Aviate and Yahoo Weather. Before Yahoo, I worked for Lookout on their Android, iOS and Kindle Fire apps. I was focused on building Product Marketing as a function within the company, but also in supporting consumer and partner related product launches and strategy. Prior to Lookout, I led Product Marketing for Firefox Desktop browser for 2.5 years, managing launches including Firefox 4 Beta, Firefox 4 and the move to the 6-week release process. Before that, I spent 2 years as a Marketing Manager for Firefox, focused on optimizing downloads on mozilla.com (as it was known then) and leading acquisition and brand campaigns.
