Mike received his Masters of Science degree from Ithaca College in 2003 where he played inter-collegiate basketball. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Temple University in 2008. He was full-body certified with Active Release Technique in 2005 and obtained his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in 2009. Mike actively participates in a variety community outreach programs and professional development. He serves as adjunct faculty in Widener University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, regularly mentors physical therapy students, and conducts professional education in-services to therapists and fitness/performance professionals in the community. Mike’s treatment philosophy incorporates holistic functional movement and neuromuscular training along with a broad spectrum of manual skills to provide the foundation for efficient and long lasting orthopaedic healing. He draws from the influences of functional movement specialists such as Gray Cook, Shirley Sahrmann, Pavel Kolar, Ron Hruska, Andreo Spina and others to marry the concepts of rehabilitation and performance, allowing for a smooth transition back to the field or life. In addition to patient care, Mike is the acting Regional Director for the Chester and Montgomery county area clinics at Premier Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Associates.
