My mission is to help create things that add value - and I think this is especially true when it comes to marketing. I believe the true definition of marketing success (and really any endeavor) is in whether the efforts added value to others. Did they walk away smarter, more confident, curious, empowered, armed to take the next step, etc.? Marketing is not just about the funnel, it's about the value you can add at each step as people explore and learn more. It shouldn't be interruptive. It doesn't need to look and feel like an ad. It shouldn't feel like a one-sided conversation. How many interruptive, one-sided conversations have you had where you walked away feeling better about the interaction? The more value you bring to your audience, it's more than likely they will return the favor. As a certified Account-Based Marketer, my focus has been on primary and secondary research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, brainstorming, customer journey mapping, sales enablement, and digital insights with experience in the automotive industry (Volkswagen, MINI Cooper), financial services (Riskalyze, Visa, and Charles Schwab mobile app and ABM experiences), wireless carriers (Sprint, app ideation and strategy), gaming (Nintendo), retail (Target), insurance (Esurance), QSR (Pizza Hut), and the cannabis industry (Gro-Tech Systems) among others. If I wasn't working in advertising or marketing, I would probably be teaching and/or coaching. If you can't find me at the office, you can probably find me doing something active outdoors. I love to read and write and one of my goals this year is to do more of both. One day, I want to earn enough for my wife and me to buy a piece of land somewhere on the central coast of California and split our time there.
