Point Nine Capital (www.pointninecap.com) is a Berlin-based venture capital firm focused exclusively on early-stage Internet investments in areas such as Software as a Service (SaaS), marketplace and mobile technology. The fund and its managers, Pawel Chudzinski and Christoph Janz, have backed a number of highly successful Internet companies such as Delivery Hero, Clio, Shiftplanning, Vend, Westwing and Zendesk at their earliest stages. In early 2015, Point Nine announced the closing of a new $60 million fund, Point Nine Capital Fund III.

Rodrigo lives at the crossroads of BIOLOGY + TECHNOLOGY + DESIGN. As Chief Marketing & Design Officer at Veritas Genetics, he creates experiences to engage people in the genomic revolution. For the last 20 years, Rodrigo has participated in and lead different initiatives in life sciences revolution. Before joining Veritas, Rodrigo was Life Sciences Chief Strategist at IDEO, where he led & worked with teams in areas ranging from health services & pharma, to genetic data, growing bacterial electrical circuits, and creating future technology applications for the year 2079. With Juan Enriquez, Rodrigo co-founded Harvard Business School’s Life Sciences Project and coined the term ‘bioeconomy’ in a series of papers and articles starting in 1997. In 2003 he co-published the first global genetic data map selected by Rem Koolhaas to be part of a WIRED’s ‘Ultimate Atlas for the XXI Century.’Rodrigo has worked in projects in 11 countries on topics including design + personal genomics, innovation & tech evolution, health & wellness, scientific and industrial partnerships, biohacking and economic growth. He has been a regular guest lecturer at Harvard and MIT.
