Having over 25 years of IT experience, with 16 years at a senior management level, I have an excellent understanding of how IT can deliver results and meet business needs on both an operational and strategic level. My strong technical background allows for thorough analysis and understanding of technical solutions while being able to clearly communicate business requirements and solutions at all levels. I strongly believe that IT should have a client focused attitude to service delivery and that it is, and is seen to be, an approachable and positive force across a business. In my current role I am responsible for strategic and operational delivery of client facing technology. This involves liaising with key stakeholders including our external clients and service delivery teams to ensure appropriate solutions are identified and provided. I have a strong track record in contract negotiation, supplier management, budgeting and cost management, project management and staff management. By working closely with other business functions such as HR, Facilities, Risk & Knowledge Management and Finance I ensure that IT is integral to effective business operation and does not operate in isolation. By adopting a broad business approach I have been able to manage effectively and reduce inefficiency while driving forward innovation impacting positively across the organisation.
