Partner of Ofcom, we regulate phone-paid services in the UK, premium rate goods and services that you can buy by charging the cost to your phone bill and pre-pay account.

As General Counsel and ongoing member of the leadership team at the PSA, advising and working with non-executive board and committee members and senior executive officers to deliver challenging organisational goals and strategic objectives is a significant and key aspect of my role. My role and work also includes working with a dynamic and technically challenging phone payments industry to build and maintain compliance and growth for the benefit of consumers. The ability to maintain effective engagement with all key stakeholders in order to achieve significant and effective regulatory and commercial outcomes for the PSA is a fundamental part of my role and my experience. I am a strategic thinker with a high level of commercial awareness - both of which are essential to my provision of legal, strategic and commercial advice and support across all levels of the PSA, including the facilitation, development and progression of new initiatives and policies. It has also been crucial for me to develop and maintain a wealth of technical legal knowledge and experience covering a broad range of UK and EU laws. Ensuring such knowledge is stored and shared effectively in a relevant and timely way across the business is a naturally important part of my role. My role continues to produce significant experience of leading and developing teams, driving change where required and providing opportunities for staff to reach their potential. Being team focussed and able to thrive in environments that are underpinned by shared values and a culture of teamworking, whilst continuing to enable individual development and achievement, remain of great importance to me.
