I enjoy working with dedicated teams who are smart, savvy and take their work seriously while understanding that successful movements for social change can be fun. My work has helped bring meaningful changes that have protected people and the planet from harmful practices and policies. I have led advocacy campaigns and communications efforts that have resulted in major changes in corporate behavior and government regulations. I have also worked on national efforts for gender inclusion and locally on campaigns to end violence against women. For several years I worked in the organic food movement as a worker/owner of a collective whole-grain bakery. I also worked as a pastry chef at the United Nations and once made petit fours for Nancy Reagan (she said they were delicious).
