Holding executive roles since 2002 in corporate affairs, government relations, worldwide policy, and business unit public affairs, I've led research initiatives to identify healthcare trends and provided strategic direction to advance Pfizer's policy priorities and business objectives on a global scale. Early in my career, I held advocacy roles in state government, leading strategy and execution of civil rights, community development, and environmental issues. Based on my reputation as a key influencer in state politics, I was recruited to Pfizer in 1996 to provide strategic leadership within a climate of global expansion and healthcare reform. Recognized for my collaborative leadership and creative problem solving, I was frequently sought out at Pfizer to handle high-profile public affairs issues involving significant reputational risks with multimillion dollar implications. In addition to my leadership in building bridges and driving results, my unique blend of government relations and business acumen provides a comprehensive perspective that I have leveraged successfully to make a difference within the larger community. Since 2006, I've served in executive roles for the NAACP and been a delegate to the Democratic National Convention three times. I've also served on the Business Council for the State of New York and in business advisory roles to my alma mater and a leading public television station. Recognizing that success is achieved through collaboration and teamwork, I am committed to developing my team by serving as a role model and mentor, always striving to "raise the bar" in delivering the highest standards of excellence.
