Parmenter is a real estate investment, management and development company founded in 1989 by Darryl Parmenter. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Parmenter operates a series of institutional investment funds focused in the Southeast, Southwest and DC Metro areas, and has regional offices Dallas, Atlanta and Washington D.C. to better service these markets. Utilizing a vertically-integrated platform to increase value on behalf of its investors, Parmenter acquires distressed in-fill office buildings, and uses its development skills to renovate and physical add value to the properties. Parmenter is a real estate investment, management and development company which identifies, acquires, and manages assets. Working as an Engineer for Parmenter, I am responsible for three class A office buildings located in the Rocky Point Market. Island Center, Waterford Plaza and Rocky Point Centre, totaling 680,000 Sq ft (approx) . Our office buildings are located minuets from Tampa's largest economic hub, Tampa International Airport. Within the facilities my duty is to maintain the existing systems for each asset, perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment and materials involved and assist the Chief Engineer with any duty's or tasks they have. This includes life safety systems, fire suppression and alarm monitoring. Chiller plant(s) and operations, pneumatic controls calibration and maintenance of existing systems, direct digital controls (DDC), in conjunction with energy management systems to control heating, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical distribution, plumbing and domestic water supply. I am focused on conservation of energy in commercial office buildings and aim to minimize the environmental impact while reducing each buildings carbon footprint.
