Vice President of Design Platform Technology
ON Semiconductor deals with the manufacturing and supplies of analog, standard logic, and discrete semiconductors for data and power management that includes ICs.
Building on my mixed signal CMOS chip design experience, I’m motivated by bridging the physical world and sensor device output with solutions partially inspired by biological systems to produce efficient smarter CMOS sensors that create better overall system solutions for customers.Executive with 25+ years of experience in development of CMOS image sensor products and technology. Experience in building/mentoring/coaching product design teams from early pioneering days of one of the first image sensor start-ups, Photobit Corporation, and grew valuable technical as well as business experience along with this core team as it evolved with Micron Technology, Aptina Imaging, and now ultimately as On Semiconductor. Developed and managed teams delivering over 90 CMOS image sensor products. Current role now with hands on research of next generation sensor technology in this continuously growing field, holds over 25 patents, and manages a nimble “full stack” R&D team working on challenges from CMOS sensor circuits/architecture for low power sensing to leverage of AI algorithms for smarter sensors. With On Semiconductor's broad design center footprint across the world, we always have our eyes out for talented design engineers with broad skill sets who are not afraid to go from touching transistors at the circuit design level to developing image processing algorithms.
