Omeros Corporation Announcement made Nov. 2014: Ryan Barnes brings to Omeros Corp. over 22 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience which includes 16+ years in field sales leadership positions. For 6 months, Ryan has been the Central Regional Sales Manager where he has contributed to the build of our commercial sales organization and where he was promoted to National Sales Director within 4 months with Omeros. During his career, he has been with several start-up biotech companies, including Athena Neurosciences, Cephalon, Inc. and InterMune. He has experience launching multiple products across several disease states with a significant portion of his career spent in the CNS / pain arena. Additionally, before joining Omeros Corp., he diversified his manufacturer’s experience working with a specialty pharmacy headquartered in Texas providing him valuable insights on pharmacy contracting, product delivery, etc... Throughout his career, Ryan has held multiple leadership positions, including Clinical Institution Specialist, Regional Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Director. Ryan and his four daughters (Channa – 17, Talee – 16, Keegan – 14, and Jerzie – 13) live in Austin, Ryan received his BS, Business Administration degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a major in Business Management. Ryan enjoys golf , fitness, hiking and spending time with his daughters.
