Cortney Read serves as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Operations for Offerpad. Working closely with the executive leadership team and reporting directly to Chairman & CEO Brian Bair, she is responsible for maximizing leadership effectiveness, coordinating the Company’s strategic action plans, and facilitating the assessment, planning and implementation of companywide initiatives. In her previous role at Offerpad as Chief of Staff and Communications, Cortney managed a variety of high-level, long-term and cross-organizational projects, and oversaw all internal and external communications, public relations and media relations efforts. Prior to joining the Company in 2017, Cortney was a director with global public relations agency Allison+Partners, responsible for managing strategic media relations plans in support of major brands including Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) and Toyota Motor North America (NYSE: TM). Before that she was one of the first employees at LifeLock, Inc., where she oversaw all communications during its first acquisition and orchestrated PR and marketing efforts to support the company’s IPO in October 2012.
