As an omnichannel retail technology executive, I am a business partner and leader focused on aligning IT strategy with business objectives to drive value, improving financial and operational performance, and customer experience. I joined Bed Bath & Beyond in Jan 2021 to lead the Technology Transformation Initiatives. Then the role broadened to manage Supply Chain, Merchandising, Planning, Finance, HR, Data warehouse and Business Insights. We worked on launching several new platforms leveraging cloud technologies for Inventory Management, Core Merchandising, Financials, Planning, Supply chain, Data analytics and Product development. Prior to that I was at The Michaels Companies working in various roles in Technology I value building collaborative partnerships throughout the company and with vendors. It is through these authentic connections that people communicate and find new synergies to achieve greatness. Through these valued relationships and a top talent team, we drove value within the IT Group, in service to business partners, and by solving organizational problems: IT Group Value Transformed IT structure and operations elevating capability and creating new business synergies, including creating significant savings in a global delivery model with outsourced IT services. Retail Partner Value We implemented & optimized Oracle Retail & financial systems, Planning & Inventory Management, enabled new 3PL supply chain expansion, and innovated new capabilities for data analytics and eCommerce for customer convenience. Organizational Value We drove the company strategy by creating roadmaps and driving millions in sales and gross margin by providing technology platforms for execution , managing and negotiating contracts, enabling company investment, and implementing loyalty and other growth engines. I was recently asked to describe a great day at work. For me, a great day would include time with my team and business working on business strategies to develop and implement IT Roadmaps and solving business challenges with value-driven solutions. It would also include engaging with team members to provide mentorship and recognize performance. I believe in building positive and inclusive work environments and served as a leader on various Resource groups, sharing strategies to develop associates into leadership roles, and overseeing cultural events.
