Stephen Rybak is the owner of MDR, a full-service agency that specializes in advertising, digital and media strategies for a wide range of clients and industries. With over 20 years in the marketing space, he has delivered award-winning brand work and led the development, direction and production of numerous mass media advertising campaigns. His experience includes everything from small startups to corporate level brands like CITGO®, Shiner Beers, HEB, CHI Global® and Rally Credit Union. Data-driven and strategy-focused, his agency’s work generates quantifiable results and ROI for clients via innovative marketing solutions and tactical planning. The recipient of more than 300 creative awards for his executions across multiple media, Stephen’s work has been recognized at the local, national and international levels. Awards include multiple Best of Show, Best of Video, Best of Print, Best of Radio and Best of Interactive Awards from the American Advertising Awards. He’s also won 20 Telly® Awards, 3 Davey® Awards from the International Academy of Visual Arts and multiple CASE and Medallion Awards for his work in higher education. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and a graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a degree in Marketing, Stephen is committed to the future of the Coastal Bend Region and supports anything and everything that has a positive impact on the city’s future. Stephen was named one of Corpus Christi’s 40 under 40 in 2009, a civic organization honoring young professionals who excel in their careers while contributing to the community. He plays an active role in the community regularly serving on numerous boards and commissions. Stephen also contributes many hours of pro bono marketing and advertising services to civic and charitable organizations.
