My career spans over 20+ years in the advertising and communications industry focused on technology. I have worked for several multinational agencies including TBWA Chiat/Day, Young & Rubicam, Ammirarti Puris and McCann Worldgroup Canada; leading them on enterprise technology strategies, planning and implementations. I have guided McCann Canada through several large-scale enterprise technology projects. These include data security, enterprise messaging, network design and mobile device deployment strategies for my company and our clients. As businesses continue to embrace new technologies, I feel I am able to look at the business challenge and ensure that solution is cost effective and is the right technology to solve the business challenge. I have a love for technology and strive to keep tabs on the latest trends and how technologies can be implemented to streamline business processes, improve customer response and reduce costs. Key Achievements: - Oversaw and managed the IT and audio visual project plans for five office moves in one year. This included saving $500,000 in capital improvements. - Built out a dedicated Development Operations (DevOps) team to support our growing digital production division and expanded our web hosting solutions. - Consolidated and migrated our companies infrastructure from an on-premise data centre to a new colocation facility saving $50,000 per year. - Established a centralized IT shared services model to support 800+ users in five cities across Canada, which produced an annual savings of $100,000 plus. - Completed a technology platform change in under 18 months that had been previously stalled for two years.
