Allan has been with MassMutual’s Information Technology organization since 1993. Initially joining the company as an assistant analyst, he moved through progressive technical ranks, ultimately serving as Chief Architect and driving development of the company’s first enterprise- wide IT blueprint. In 2008 Allan assumed leadership of the Enterprise Architecture function, and was appointed Chief Technology Officer in January 2009. In this role he is responsible for the corporation’s architecture framework, developing technology strategy, oversight of the technology portfolio, and advising the executive team on technology decisions and industry trends. Most recently, Allan has spearheaded a new initiative focused on transforming the technology used by MassMutual’s career sales professionals. In addition to his role at MassMutual, Mr. Campbell serves as a trusted advisor to a number of industry partners, including EMC Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Forrester Research, and MIT’s Center for Digital Business. He volunteers his expertise to the local community, as a member of the Technology Advisory Boards of Western New England University in Springfield, MA, and Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, CT, and on the Town of Wilbraham Technology Committee. Allan has also been a long-time volunteer director for the MassMutual Federal Credit Union, serving since 1996 including ten years as Board Chairman. Mr. Campbell is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he received his degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He resides in Wilbraham, MA with his wife Kathryn and their three children.
