MarketAxess Holdings Inc. is engaged in electronic trading of corporate bonds and certain other types of fixed-income securities. Through the Companys platform, 649 active institutional investor client firms (firms that executed at least one trade through its electronic trading platform between January 2009 and December 2008) can access the aggregate liquidity provided by the collective interest of its 48 broker-dealer clients in buying or selling bonds through its platform. MarketAxess' active institutional investor clients include investment advisers, mutual funds, insurance companies, public and private pension funds, bank portfolios and hedge funds. Its revenues are primarily generated from the trading of United States and European high-grade corporate bonds. On March 5, 2008, the Company acquired Greenline Financial Technologies, Inc.

Morgan's head of North American fixed income sales and investor client relations. Mr. McVey previously served on the board of directors of Blue Mountain Credit Alternatives L.P. and now serves on the board of directors for the Miami University Foundation and the Colby College Board of Trustees.In 2012 Mr. McVey was Ernst & Young's 'National Entrepreneur Of The Year' for financial services and has also been named to Institutional Investor's 'Tech 50' nine times.Mr. McVey received a B.A. in Finance from Miami (Ohio) University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
