Director
Lexmark creates innovative imaging solutions and technologies that help customers worldwide print, secure and manage information with ease, efficiency and unmatched value.
Though a Research and Development engineer by trade, I have most recently been focused on predictive analytics capabilities from the service operations side of the house for our customers. With my team, we are delivering some interesting field support and technical service center solutions centered around predicting and avoiding customer service calls before they occur. Leveraging data science and 'Big Data' from our smart multi-function devices, we have built a responsive data collection, IT, and operational business intelligence system. And, really, it's 'continue to build', as we continue to add smarter algorithms and additional advanced capabilities. One of the great thing about Lexmark is the ability to work in many different and varied functional areas. So, after starting my career in cartridge technology development, I went on to lead teams in paperfeed mechanical architecture R&D and in Supply Chain manufacturing and product engineering . I have also had the opportunity to lead a product development group that designed and brought to production a $75M project that was full of new technology. These roles have enabled me to see our broader business from many different angles, and I am grateful to Lexmark to have afforded me those experiences. They have put me in the position to be much more effective working for our customers now from an operational position.
