CMO Physician Services and Network Development, Lee Memorial Health System 9/2010- Present A fully integrated system with 10,000 employees and annual revenues of $1.3 billion. The system includes 5 acute care hospitals, a rehab hospital and 250 employed physicians. Responsibilities include working and supporting physician related activities Including independent, contracted physicians and the formation of a multi-specialty group practice, post acute care services, rehab hospital, SNFIST, outpatient centers cancer, palliative care , PHO/CIN and managed care strategy. Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, 9/2006- 7/2010 A fully integrated system with 9000 employees and annual revenues of $1.3 billion. The system includes 5 acute care hospitals, a rehab hospital, behavioral health, a 60 FTE primary care physician practice, a Health Plan with multiple products including 113,000 member fully insured HMO and PPO members and senior services. Responsibilities included strategic direction for the following areas: Information systems, human resources and OD, outreach services, legal services, quality/patient safety, risk management, supply chain, compliance, electronic ICU across the health care system. In addition, development and design of a physician compact, physician leadership model and design of a structure to support the physician strategy of the health system. Chief Medical Officer Affinity Health System, 1998-9/2006 President Affinity Medical Group, 1995- 9/2006 A fully integrated delivery system with 4000 employees and annual revenues of $550 million. The system includes three hospitals, a long-term care facility, 100,000-member health plan (multiple products), and 200 FTE physician practice. Operating budget of $180 million with 1,300 employees and 220 physicians at 19 locations. Managed a multi-specialty medical practice and integrated practices acquired by the hospital system and Affinity Medical Group.
