Joining Kinsmen Group in August 2015, I bring a wealth of experience in the area of engineering content management, gained mostly from previous roles held within McLaren Software spanning over 16 years. Those roles covered the management of support, products, development and services functions – providing me with a deep and wide breadth of knowledge.Prior to McLaren, I held roles in Royal Bank of Scotland and British Nuclear Fuels, where I managed systems and databases for the critical content that those organizations held – which gradually developed my desire to move more specifically into engineering content management.With a successful record of surpassing revenue and budgetary expectations, I have managed large global teams through a clear, honest and consistent management style, always remembering that people are the most important asset to any company. With a strong passion for quality and success, I also adopt a very much 'hands-on' approach, being actively involved in all aspects of the software and solution lifecycle – helping define products, design solutions and provide necessary implementation & project management support. This level of involvement has, over many years, provided me with a vast amount of experience in both engineering business processes and the various technical solutions available.Customers and projects that I have been engaged with span many small and global organizations in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Utilities, Pharmaceutical and more. I have also worked closely with vendors and technology partners, including IBM, EMC, Oracle and OpenText.
