The professions, clothes and lives of two real people influence its debut collection. But the brand’s hope is for its collections to become part of a new generation of memories as its styles are worn day-in day-out, by quality conscious customers.\r\n\r\nKing, a ballet teacher from the East End of London in the 1940s is the inspiration behind the elegant, free-flowing women’s collection. Tuckfield, a former soldier in the British army in the 1940’s and Yorkshire mineworker, has inspired the tough, practical look and structure of the men’s range.\r\n\r\nEvery fabric and trim has been meticulously curated to contribute to King & Tuckfield’s unfolding narrative. Favouring cut and finish over overt branding King & Tuckfield sets a new benchmark for detail-obsessed clothing. Japanese selvedge denims are woven on vintage shuttle looms. Luxury wool is intertwined with denim on smart pants. All knitwear is cashmere, all T-shirts are Merino wool. Each precision cut denim style ushers in a fresh level of refinement. \r\n\r\nThe refined aesthetic of the collection matches the premium stores which provide our backdrop. Places where quality and detail are paramount and appreciated by their consumer.\r\n\r\nThe premiere collection from King & Tuckfield launches with 40 women’s items and 40 items in the men’s collections, across selected UK stores in June 2016.
