The first JYSK store was opened in Canada in 1996 by Jakup Jacobsen in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Today, there are 55 JYSK stores in Canada with locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and our online store www.jysk.ca. JYSK will continue to expand across Canada over the next several years. With a passion for Scandinavian design; products range from furniture to accessories, including mattresses, bedding, home decor and outdoor products that will enhance any living space with a sense of style at affordable prices.

Facility coordinator with a proven record of success in managing over 100 retail stores while keeping up with high standards of maintenance, facility development and excellent customer relationships. I am responsible for facility management of 115 JYSK stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. I am also greatly involved in store expansion and development in both countries. Main fields: operational costs, rents, energy saving systems, technical reviews and compliances, waste management, maintenance and repairs.
