This experience led to my role at Elsevier, where as Head of Technology I was responsible for its digital transformation, including product strategy and M&A. This led to the acquisition of London based startup Mendeley, which I led over the last 3 years. Over this period of unprecedented growth, I built a team of over 150+, launched multiple innovative new products such as Mendeley Data, and grew the active user base by 4x. I found the results oriented, hands on operational work required to build and organization (big and small) very stimulating.
