Company
Juno Therapeutics

Juno Therapeutics, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company. The Company is developing cell-based cancer immunotherapies based on its chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and T cell receptor (TCR) technologies to genetically engineer T cells to recognize and kill cancer cells. Its product candidates, JCAR015, JCAR017 and JCAR014, utilize CAR technology to target CD19, a protein expressed on the surface of various B cell leukemias and lymphomas. Its other product candidates include JCAR018: CD22, JCAR023: L1CAM (CD171), JCAR020: MUC-16/IL-12, ROR-1 and JTCR016: WT-1. JCAR015 is in Phase I open label clinical trial stage for patients with relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia (r/r ALL). JCAR017 is in Phase I/II trial for patients with pediatric r/r ALL. JCAR014 is in Phase I/II trial for treatment of various B cell malignancies in patients. JTRC016 is in Phase I/II clinical trial for the treatment of adult myeloid leukemia, myelodysplasic syndrome and chronic myeloid leukemia.

Bio

I have been working in biotech for over 15 years with a research emphasis in immunology and autoimmune disease. My experience lies predominantly in designing and implementing assays to test cell function. I have spent most of my career studying and blocking interactions between antigens and cells involved in inflammatory pathways. I have performed large scale sequencing and omics projects to build libraries for identifying targets to modify for xenotransplantation, used phage display and next-gen sequencing (NGS) to identify antibodies to whole cell targets in high-throughput systems, lead the effort to bring iPSC technology in-house and build engineering platforms for these, design collection strategies/downstream assays for exploratory omics research for phase II/III clinical trials. Most recently, I have been responsible for driving research and development for cell therapies products. My experience includes but is not limited to: leading and managing multiple concurrent projects, coordinating work with CROs and collaborating laboratories, bringing new technology in-house and bringing scientific expertise and experience to new product development.
