A veteran sales/marketer adept at sourcing opportunities for clients and employers. With IDEXX I consult with clients on tools to create new revenue opportunities, increase compliance and ensure safe data backup protocols. At JobsinME.com I assisted clients with customized recruitment marketing solutions and creative strategy consultation. How creative? I presented the vision in constructing the Guinness Book of World Records “World’s Largest Snowman” while President of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce. I led a Board of Directors reorganization, branded Bethel as “Maine’s Most Beautiful Mountain Village,” and founded the Bethel Area Transportation System. As Marketing Director at the Sunday River Ski Resort, I created the reoccurring fundraiser called Santa Sunday – featuring hundreds of skiing and riding Santa Clauses every December - which also communicates to the marketplace that the resort is open for skiing. I also laser focused the resort’s brand in creating the category: “The Most Dependable Snow in New England.” I developed almost single handedly a multimillion-dollar incremental revenue stream for the resorts of the American Skiing Company by cultivating the UK International skier market. Traveling often overseas, my natural relationship building skills and marketing acumen resulted in multiple editorial reviews and comprehensive channel distribution inclusions for the ski resorts I represented. My “Pebble Beach of the East” campaign launched a strategic re-positioning of the Samoset Resort. I personally developed relationships in the golf industry leading to the Samoset golf course being recognized as the “7th Most Beautiful Golf Resort in the United States” by Golf Digest magazine. Other accomplishments: leading the CAT Ferry’s original entry into the Portland marketplace; modernizing the Catskills’ Windham Mountain Resort’s marketing strategies & tactics; and the opening of Raphael’s’ Restaurant on Market Street in Portland, ME.
