Dr. Poe has held a variety of clinical, administrative, research, and management roles over the course of her nursing career, most of which have involved leading and working in interdisciplinary teams. In her current role as Chief Nursing Information Officer, she partners with the Chief Medical Information Officer to lead of a wide array of institutional interdisciplinary informatics and clinical documentation projects. In her role as Director of Nursing, Clinical Quality, she leads the Nursing Quality, Clinical Informatics, and Magnet Programs, all of which involve interdisciplinary teams. Dr. Poe was one of the original developers of the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice Model in collaboration with faculty from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing as well as the Johns Hopkins Fall Risk Assessment Scale.
