My life has been full of surprises and turns, each of which has made me stronger and more independent. I was born and raised in Manchester, England, and then spent 10 years living in rural Maryland. Today, I live in San Diego studying Marketing at San Diego State University. On the outside, I may look like a typical young woman, but the experiences I have strived through have given me extraordinary skills of perseverance and courage. My past has given me a passion for travel and a yearning to indulge myself in other cultures. I believe meaningful and effective communication has the power to transcend barriers and unite individuals and groups. My goal is to apply my communication skills, strategic and creative thinking, and courage to build a successful career in the Marketing Communications field.
