Dr. Benjamin Mansalis is a thought leader in HIT, virtual care, digital innovation, and data science and is a practicing Internist. He started his career in the data science and healthcare operations start-up space focusing on the consumer retail and pharmaceutical industries with multiple successful private equity exits and rising to Chief Technology Officer at Axiom Data. He then launched his profession in medicine with a commitment to providing healthcare to the underserved as a National Health Service Scholar. He completed his residency and fellowship through Kaiser Permanente and began his journey to create value by blending his healthcare expertise with his technology background. Dr. Mansalis has held multiple physician executive roles as both consultant and internal business leader implementing data-driven strategies and creating value in digital healthcare operations. He has deployed multiple innovations across many healthcare contexts including e-ICU, hospital-at-home, digital front-door, remote patient monitoring, and virtual care. As a transformational leader, he values diversity in his teams and strives to challenge himself and others to encourage different perspectives creating a collaborative yet rapid change management pace.
