Few people ever target their careers towards parking, but many stay forever. Why? This is an engaging industry full of opportunities to practice skills in varying disciplines that I use to help organizations maximize their asset values, deliver high levels of service during critical times, and realize operational efficiencies with technology that must also integrate with on-line marketing. Every location is different and like a puzzle that needs to be solved. The greatest skill I possess is a sense of endless optimism. It has helped me initiate operating companies from zero to leading the most successful parking teams in the Western US. My experience is unique in our industry. Developing and managing over 1,200 locations and 2,000 employees over the past 24 years has provided me with a lifetime of experience. My 10,000 hours came quickly, and I have had the pleasure of working with the best teams and many of the most complex parking operations in the country. I am a husband and father of 5 daughters living in the Greater Seattle area. I relocated to the US from Canada in the late nineties and still enjoy playing a little ice hockey with friends. 23 years ago, we moved from Vancouver to Seattle. Having young children at the time, we attended a lot of parades. What we noticed immediately was that “every” parade was led by the military and that “everyone” stood as the military members passed as a sign of respect for their contributions and sacrifices. Today I serve as a board member of the USO. I have the privilege of supporting our military directly and encourage you to provide your support in any way you can. As the Regional Vice President of Platinum Parking, I am leading our company’s expansion in the Western US.
