With a background of running my own businesses, I have an entrepreneurial mindset and an instinctive ability to bring the very best out of the businesses and people I work with.Over the course of my career, I have held a variety of marketing roles at Procter & Gamble, Sharwoods (RHM), an international mobile phone distributor and a technology start-up business, and as well as owning a local newspaper, I founded the award-winning marketing company, Just Too Busy in 2005, which I re-branded to Cornerstone Marketing in 2011. I am now Head of Corporate Marketing at software firm IDBS.I have over 25 years’ experience in media, communication and marketing, an honours degree in Media & Communication, a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, of which I am also an associate member, and I also hold a Hubspot Inbound certification.I combine ideas and insight, with commercial awareness, and this, along with a huge learning curve and the ability to get things done, means that I am an impactful, organised and inspiring marketer and leader.
