House of Spices is a family business, with every member to thank for where it is today. Our story begins in 1970 with one small store in Jackson Heights, Queens. Brothers G.L. and K.L. Soni noticed an increasing demand for Indian food culture and answered it by opening a family business that would grow into a national legacy for over 2 generations. House of Spices Indian food products are made from the finest ingredients that are grown on family farms and carefully harvested at peak season. We create and distribute Indian cuisine that delicately combines the best of aroma, taste, and texture. Trying to keep Indian food on the cutting edge. Amrapali Soni is COO at House of Spices (India) Inc. As a second generation owner, she has over a decade of experience in business development and innovation. Pioneering technical innovation through the HOS Supply chain, minimizing overhead by utilizing offshore offices and rebranding through packaging design and marketing initiatives are only some of her accomplishments. She regularly attends events and trade shows to stay on top of the cutting edge in food and packaging. When she isn’t working you will find her in a gym or studio trying out the new fitness craze.
