I have 15+ years of Product Management, Project Delivery and Regional Partnerships experience in Asia, working on telco & digital products. I have also previously obtained Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2010. In my current role, I am overseeing strategy for Corporate Digital Identity - more to come! In my last role at Viki, I am part of the Product leadership team and team manager overseeing the Tools and Services Product Management portfolio at Rakuten Viki. This includes (i) Internal Tools & Workflows, (ii) Subtitles & Community, (iii) User Account Management & Compliance and (iv) Data & Reliability. I enjoy coaching my PMs to be better product people, whilst tweaking my management styles for different personalities. In my previous role at StarHub, I was overseeing a team of Product Managers and leading Product Development & Operations efforts for StarHub's Video Entertainment business. Getting to shape and execute next-gen video entertainment strategy was exciting for me - especially when TV operators and Content Providers (CPs) were finding new cooperation models, even as CPs competed head-on with their traditional distribution affiliates for OTT subscription dollars. Before that, I was one of the pioneering employees at HOOQ, leading partner integrations, user acquisition and payments. Highlights: - Integrated various payment methods in an efficient manner, streamlining the payments experience - Acquiring users through partnerships with >20 leading telcos, ISPs, e-commerce players and banks in 5 countries in a span of <2 years. This was done by building a technical framework through which partner integrations could then be standardised and delivered quickly. The result was that HOOQ got over 3.5M registered users in a span of 2 years, of which ~1M were paying subscribers. Prior to HOOQ, I was with Singtel in a variety of product and project management roles. Projects I worked on included Location-based Advertising, Mobile Video, Big Data, Service Delivery Platform. I gained extensive experience managing large cross-functional teams and handling multi-million dollar tenders end-to-end, from project conceptualisation to rollout.
