-Experienced IT Professional with over 15 years in the industry; who insists on being a hands-on manager,very much involved in the daily tasks at all levels of the IT operation.- Oversaw the implementation of an MPLS VPN WAN to connect all branch offices. This migration facilitated the use of IP phones at each location, allowing for improved call handling during peak periods and reduced hardware and costs of disparate PBX systems.- Merged separate Windows domains, from branch offices that had been acquired to allow for seamless access to resources and create a uniform desktop experience for all staff, regardless of geographical location.- Migrated traditional servers to an Enterprise virtual infrastructure for the Association’s internal servers on centralized data storage (SAN), allowing for shorter maintenance windows, increased server up-time and greater ability to perform data backup and recovery operations.- Oversaw the implementation of the Association’s High Definition Video conferencing platform.- Provides direction to junior network support staff as needed, in addition to mentoring for career development. - Created and deployed a mobile Wi-Fi equipment operations platform, successfully providing Wi-Fi access to hundreds of Realtors® during the Association's Premier annual event at off-site meeting venues in the Houston area- Management of new IT services cut-overs to new telecom/data providers - Interfaces with directors and managers of other departments to deliver Technology support- Manages the Association’s Software Licensing Agreements (Microsoft, McAfee, Cisco etc.)- Proactively negotiates more favorable terms on existing services scheduled for renewal.- Daily oversight of the organization's IT infrastructure across 5 disparate physical locations and adoption of emerging technologies.-Administration of Enterprise firewalls including Cisco, Checkpoint, Secure Computing, Palo Alto, Fortinet.- Prepares Annual Budget for the IT Department.
