Dr. Suresh Srinivasan, is a PhD from IIT Madras, a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank Holder), Cost Accountant and MBA (Bradford, UK). He has around 25 years of experience in a wide range of manufacturing, service and infrastructure industries, both in India and abroad. He was involved in the Business Finance, Corporate Development and Strategy function initiatives at Emirates Airlines in Dubai, for close to a decade. Has worked with leading companies like Tata Steel and Industrial Development Bank of India, French-American joint venture ETPM – McDermott, a Texas based infrastructure company, covering Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. Previous roles have ranged in the areas of Corporate Strategy, Business Finance, Project Appraisals and Feasibility studies, Project Finance, Business Valuations (of closely held companies), Joint Venture & M&A Structuring (due-diligence exercises, effective commercial, financial and legal structuring) and Management Consulting. His doctoral thesis at IIT Madras dealt with strategy, diversification and business groups. Post doctoral interest lies in Diversification, Agency Theory, Corporate Governance and Strategies for small, medium sized and Family Business. Dr Suresh Srinivasan teaches in leading business schools in the country, and abroad, offering foundation course in Corporate Strategy and Strategic Management, Advanced level course in Corporate Strategy and Economics of Strategy. Regularly conducts a number of Industry Programs and workshops related to Strategy and Strategic Management; works with the board of directors of organizations in diversified sectors like construction, infrastructure, mechanization, manufacturing, telecom, electronics and transportation in helping them develop Strategic Thinking and facilitating them in developing a long term strategic plan for their respective organizations.
