Kate started with the family business at the start of 2004 and very quickly realised she had the same passion for insurance as was recognised in other members of her family. She has been managing the General Insurance arm of Goldsworthys since her mother – Katrina Goldsworthy – retired in 2010. It took Kate and her team less than four years to double the general insurance business, making Goldsworthy's one of Australia’s fastest growing Resilium practices. Her recipe for growth is easy: “Helping people is our passion and Insurance is how we do it.” Kate grew up on cattle properties and raises her own family on 10 acres of land, surrounded by farm animals. She loves country music, horse riding and netball. When she gets the chance, she’ll fit a good book into her busy schedule…preferably a romance or biography.
