I am passionate about identifying meaningful inferences out of the huge volume of data. With a solid background of computer programming, business acumen and communication skills, I look forward to leveraging my past work experiences and my educational learning(Masters in Business Analytics) in helping organizations make bigger and better decisions. In my 5.5 years of work experience with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), I had the opportunity to work internationally in a variety of roles such as developer, and analyst. This resulted in me attaining a solid understanding of the software development life cycle. As a business analyst at TCS, I had the opportunity to engage in multiple client-facing roles, play with data, and provide solutions to the client’s business challenges. My Co-curricular Corporate Experiential Projects in my Business Analytics Program helped me acquire hands on experience on various data analytic tools such as R, Apache Hadoop, Pig, Hive, IBM SPSS, SAS and IBM Cognos. At my summer internship, I gained working knowledge of several visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics etc. and identified potential new revenue streams for the Customer Resource Center group. I am a confident public speaker (Toastmasters certified), with additional experience in training my fellow associates on how to enhance their public speaking and leadership skills. I have always enjoyed trying new things, from participating in debate competitions, 5-K marathon to taking up volunteer initiatives to give back to the society, to collaborating with different project teams and taking up new technical certifications.
