I am one of the lucky few who have found a career that so closely matches my personality that performing the roles of my job just come "natural". I like to help people, to fix things, to solve problems, and just improve things in general. Working in facilities and maintenance, you wear a lot of hats, so that variety is a very satisfying challenge for me each and every day. I am currently the Maintenance Manager for a manufacturing facility in Austell Georgia producing injection molded plastics parts for various industries. I love what I do for a living and want to stay in the Maintenance Leadership Arena. I have tried to set up my profile to list some of my accomplishments and I hope it shows that I am a man of action and like to get things done. I enjoy working with equipment and working with the people who work on equipment. I have lead Kaizen events, written procedures, trained from associates to managers, managed multimillion dollar projects, and planned both production machining and preventive maintenance schedules. But where I feel most at home is working with a team to solve a problem or improve a process. My hands-on, hardworking approach to leading has allowed me to earn the respect of my peers and accomplish some great things. I chose to use the more informal summary here instead of the one currently on my resume.
