G5 Entertainment is a developer and publisher of free-to-play games for smartphones and tablets.

Game programmer turned entrepreneur and CEO of a Nasdaq-listed company. I started programming at the age of 11 thanks to my father, and quickly got interested in making games. By 15, I knew I wanted to make games for a living. My first job that I took during the freshman year at the university was a game programmer at one of the first Russian game companies. This was where I met Alik and Sergey and in 2001 we set out to establish a mobile game studio that would eventually become G5 Entertainment Group. I still wrote game code until 2003, and then focused entirely on business, although I was not sure what that meant, at the time. By 2006, G5 was making mobile “feature phone” games for Disney and EA, on franchises like The Simpsons and Pirates of the Caribbean. Same year G5 went public on a small exchange in Stockholm. In 2008, fresh out of surviving the crisis, we recognized the mobile games market is about to change, and in 2009 G5 launched its first 9 games for iPhone. Five years later, G5 is focused on free-to-play (F2P) games, and has a portfolio of 100 games, each available for all major mobile platforms. From 2009 to 2014, G5’s revenues grew 1822%. Since June 2014, G5 Entertainment AB is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm main market under trade symbol G5EN.
