We employ over 350 full and part time general nursing staff across Australia, who provide dialysis to around 800 patients. I am recognized for innovative development to meet ever-evolving demands across various global regions for products and therapy technologies that drive competitive edge and market share. Having more than 13 years steeped in R&D at Fresenius Medical Care in the U.S. and Germany, I have taken on progressive leadership roles to drive better products for patients with a holistic approach to development. I consistently strive for the gold standard in all products, working across quality, regulatory, regional marketing and technical service departments in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia to fully understand and execute product development that balance both medical and business needs. An approachable and accountable leader, I lead talented cross-functional teams committed to excellence in alignment with best practices and quality standards. Part of this is being well connected to the various R&D sites in Europe, the US and AP to push forward on making dialysis treatments accessible and affordable in the emerging markets while simultaneously reducing therapy costs and improving clinical outcomes in established markets. Part of my overall leadership vision is to make renal replacement therapy seamless and engage earlier with patients through close collaboration between Acute, Home and In-Center based therapies to guarantee optimized patient transition between the modalities. Being well connected to the various R&D sites in Europe, the US and AP, having trustworthy relationships with representatives from Quality, Regulatory, Regional Marketing and Technical Service departments in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia as well as having worked with the Medical Office in the US and EMEA enables me to collect, understand and balance the medical and business needs.
