I am an accomplished, highly motivated geologist/geophysicist with over 15 years of experience in oil and gas exploration, prospect generation, appraisal, technical assurance and research. Currently, as the VP of Basin and Reservoirs Chemistry, I have created and successfully manage a basin and reservoir performance team that evaluates unconventional production trends and reservoir performance to quantify custom chemistry formulations for completion fluids to enhance production and add value to unconventional reservoirs. Success as an individual contributor and in leadership positions have led to multiple commercial exploration discoveries and successful appraisal projects across a global portfolio of conventional and unconventional resources. A balance of leadership and technical skills have led to developing workflows for regional resource strategies as well as exploration and appraisal plans that efficiently evaluated opportunities, progressed resources, identified critical risk and maximized return on investments. My leadership has mentored junior and senior professionals across all disciplines within the oil and gas industry. I am skilled at working within integrated, cross-functional teams and with senior management, industry partners and government organizations. I am active in the geologic and business community currently serving as an Associate Editor for the AAPG Bulletin and a Charles Taylor AAPG Fellow. I have also authored over 36 peer reviewed papers, reports and in-house training workshops and have served on academic and commercial research committees, and the Executive Committee of the Houston Chapter of Decision Quality Analysis.
