My introduction to the world of color and interior products began after accepting a position within Colwell North America in 2003. In this role I found my passion for both color and design, designing paint and window treatment point-of-purchase collateral for many of the industry leaders. In 2005, I relocated to Johnson City, Tennessee, and began working for Mullican Flooring. I was fortunate enough to work with some knowledgeable people who have allowed me to learn from their mistakes and triumphs. Over my nine years at Mullican Flooring, I am proud that I have contributed to moving Mullican Flooring to the industry forefront through oversight of market research and strategy planning, hands-on product development, and merchandising design website development and marketing materials. In 2014, I was presented with an opportunity to join IVC US, and learn from some of the brightest minds in resilient flooring. Creating both the inspiring stories behind the products and the product designs themselves, working closely with the manufacturing process to create products that are beautiful and practical — fulfilling the needs and trends of different market segments. In 2017, I moved to the bluegrass of Lexington, KY to help Florida Tile re-event the company's brand strategy. After a year, a new brand personality launched with new collateral and digital messaging, creating an inviting and relevant brand. In 2019, my responsibilities expanded to include the product development and management of the Florida Tile product portfolio. In 2020, I was recruited to Miami Florida, to design and develop a line of SPC flooring for Happy Floors.
