I currently serve as President and CEO of Deluxe, a NYSE-traded (DLX) Fortune 1000 company. I am leading the 107-year-old company’s transformation from a check printer into a payments and data company. The company now processes nearly $3 trillion in digital payments, roughly 15% of the U.S. GDP, and generates $2.2 billion in revenue. We produce the twice Emmy-nominated, #1 unscripted lifestyle Hulu program called Small Business Revolution. I wrote a book with the same name that debuted at #2 on the Wall Street Journal best-seller list. I am a contributing editor at Forbes, have been profiled in Time, and have appeared twice on CNBC Jim Cramer’s Mad Money. In 2022, I was named Entrepreneur Of The Year® for the Heartland region by EY. Across my career at P&G, Wells Fargo, Verisign, MagnaCash (Silicon Valley start-up), First Data (now part of Fiserv) and currently at Deluxe, I have created, expanded or helped launch dozens of innovative products you likely use every day like Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Android Pay, eCommerce payments, point-of-sale terminals, AR/AP automation, gift and pre-paid cards, modern ATMs, a national debit network, and products for Oil of Olay, Old Spice, Secret, CoverGirl and Pantene. In addition, I am faith-based community leader, honored to serve on the Boards of the National Urban League, Carter Center, Woodruff Arts Center, Minnesota Business Partnership, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber. I am the proud father of three thriving young adults and fortunate to be married to my beautiful, best friend for 30 years.
