I manage software engineers to deliver features for our publishing and analytics platforms in an AGILE manner. Extremely well versed in the Australian Media industry. I collaborate directly with product and marketing teams to implement a data analytics solution to Nines digital assets, in particular the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Australian Financial Review for their data collection and insights into product usage, audience behaviours and ecommerce activities. Experienced in working with click-stream analytics data. Platforms include Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowplow, Chartbeat and Parse.ly. Able to analyze and present insights to executive level. Manage a data warehouse function and a team of contracted and permanent data engineers, vendor engagement and contract negotiation. Database management experience from traditional RDBMs to Cloud SQL solutions. Involved with end-to-end development of desktop and web based software using AGILE/SCRUM. Focus on the most valuable feature requests for fast turn around. Many years of working on different database systems (Sybase, SqlServer, MySql, Postgresql) in diverse industries ranging from insurance, logistics to real estate.
