Accomplished communications and public relations leader and contributor with more than 20 years of continued professional experience. Recognized for success working with colleagues at all levels of a Fortune 500 energy company, including corporate and business unit leadership. Created and implemented strategic communications programs targeting employees, communities, shareholders, and other stakeholders.Most recently, I've focused on communication projects in five areas:Strategic Communications: Developed and implemented communications plan for spin-off of El Paso Exploration and Production Company, including day one strategies, employee communications, community relations, brand development, and website development. Public Relations, Branding, and Marketing Communications: Participated in the development and launch of social media platforms for El Paso Corporation, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, podcasts, and iReporter vehicles tied to key corporate strategies, including brand extension and recruiting. Corporate/Financial Communications:Researched and wrote executive presentations for meetings with analysts, shareholders, company leaders, employees, industry peers, recruits, NGOs, and other public audiences.Employee and Human Resources Communications: Participated in the rollout of El Paso Corporation’s vision and values. Effort included posters, value-a-day emails from the CEO, intranet and internet postings, and presentations. Also helped to develop and refine a purpose statement, values, and vision for the spinoff of El Paso’s exploration and production business. Change Communications: Selected to lead Communications and Community Relations group for EP Energy, after a proposed spin-off of El Paso’s E&P assets, including development of new branding and comprehensive communications and community relations strategy.
