Earning a degree in Linguistics with complementary studies in Computer Science has enhanced my analytical skills and technical intuition, ultimately bolstering my core abilities. These two subjects provide me with a versatile platform from which I simultaneously apply and sharpen the knowledge I continue to acquire.Working as a support representative at Automated Medical Systems gained me experience with installing, configuring, and supporting software as well as its underlying hardware. A typical day consisted of addressing client issues via phone and/or email with occasional opportunity for face-to-face support, and logging the interaction through resolution in our company ticketing system. In my time there, I became familiar with Microsoft SQL and writing scripts to expedite database maintenance and backup/restore processes From bed & breakfast to national office supply retailer, I am well-rounded in customer service and interpersonal skills. I have always been encouraged to pursue high standards, and continue to seek nothing less when it comes to fostering genuine client satisfaction and loyalty. Moreover, having been involved in team sports throughout my childhood, I know how to contribute in group endeavors and corporate goals.At the very core of all my skill and experience lies an appreciation and desire to contribute what I have for the benefit of others. In college, I served as a ministry team member for a faith-based student organization, channeling my skills in service to the college campus and wider community. I aided in a variety of service projects, assisted in the setup of weekly meetings, and led small group discussions and study. So, as long as what I do yields benefit to others, then I will enjoy doing it. Furthermore, I will do it to the best of my ability.
