As an avid endurance athlete, I'm always searching for adventure. Also, as a lover of knowledge, I am constantly growing and learning in my work and life. In 2011, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and my straight path towards higher learning took a detour. I discovered the basics of nutrition and my knowledge of foods' direct effect on our bodies and minds has only grown. My own diet has changed immensely, evolving to fight the side effects of my auto-immune disorder. I've always wanted to share my own knowledge with others and I therefore demanded to be hired by a natural products company via Twitter in 2012.|As the marketing representative for Thunderbird Energetica, LLC, I'm able to share my own story with consumers. The vast majority of society disregards the effects of food on our mental and physical well-being. I've set out to change the idea that food is only a unit of measurement and not the means to which we nourish and deprive our bodies of nutrients. We truly are what we eat.|When I'm not touting the benefits of a 'real-food,' nutrient-dense diet, I'm cycling, trail running or reading. Despite graduating from school, I have continued my Arabic studies and passion for international affairs. My current goal is to run a trail marathon.
