Hashim M. Guinomla is an Investor Relations and Research Manager with Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), one of the largest Islamic financial institutions in the world. His role is involved in dealing with the bank’s international investor community, supporting DIB’s strategy development and execution plans and the regular reporting to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) Prior to joining Dubai Islamic Bank, he was a Global Strategy Manager with HSBC Amanah, the global Islamic banking arm of HSBC, where he was part of a team that developed and executed HSBC Amanah’s 3 year global strategy in 2011 on growing its Islamic banking business across several international markets in the Middle East, Europe as well as Asia. His banking career spans over 15 years across various areas of retail and corporate banking, strategic planning, mergers & acquisition, investor relations and economic research and has also worked for The National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Bank Al Jazira in Saudi Arabia.Hashim holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Warwick Business School in Birmingham - United Kingdom (UK), a leading global business school highly rated by The Financial Times and The Economist where he did his final paper on Islamic Banking in the Philippines. He is also a Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) – by the Middle East Investor Relations Society. He completed his Basic Management Program (BMP) with The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in 2004 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in San Beda College in the Philippines
