Devon Bank opened originally as the Devon North Town State Bank on June 9, 1945, just before the end of World War II. Our founders were local merchants who believed that the community known then as North Town, on Chicago?s north side, would benefit from a community bank.

Greg Colucci served with Devon Bank from April 2015 to April 2021 as Senior Vice President of Residential and Consumer Lending. He has been active in many areas of Residential Lending since 2000 and brings over 20 years of mortgage industry expertise to the Bank. Prior to joining Devon Bank, Greg was Vice President of Mortgage lending for the Metro Bank Group, now Byline Bank, for the past three years after moving to the North Shore from Michigan. As Vice President of Mortgage Lending for the Metro Bank Group/Byline Bank, his role was to create a new portfolio lending program, serving 92 bank branches. During his time in Michigan he started with Rock Financial, a division of Quicken Loans, in 2000 as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator and was promoted to a Senior Underwriter with the parent company Quicken Loans. Greg then moved on to a position of Sales Manager with a Mortgage broker in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Gold Star Mortgage. Having a background in sales and underwriting, Greg quickly participated in the rapid building of Gold Star Mortgage from developing and managing sales teams to creating national lending operations and creating the compliance and licensing department. Greg helped with creating local lending teams as well as national broker offices. Areas of residential lending over his career have included sales team training, call center management, portfolio product development, branch management, compliance, licensing, underwriting, budgeting, investor/correspondent relations and business management.
