- Putting the customer first to develop long term relationships resulting in innovative projects meeting all my client's strategic business goals - I am a strategic and tactical thinker who has a proven track record of delivering large integrated automation projects from initial customer contact through to contract close and beyond. Relationships are key for me and by putting myself in the shoes of the customer I am able to develop solutions that are aligned with my client's strategic business goals. I consider it imperative to be able to convey ideas across the full spectrum of my customer employee base from board level presentations to formal walk throughs with operations staff... thereby ensuring that everyone is fully understanding of what can be a complex and daunting solution. All parties are aware exactly what benefits the major investment will bring and how my company Dematic supports them during the transition phase to ramp up to achieve maximum productivity. This results in repeat projects and a long established network throughout the supply chain and logistics industry. In the past 3 years I have closed 9 contracts with a total sales volume of £230M To achieve these results I have nearly 30 years of experience across a range of engineering and management disciplines. I am fully conversant with Sales strategy , Bid Management and the solution design process as well as negotiation and how to close an equitable deal for both parties. None of this is achievable alone. Being part of and contributing to a winning team is hugely important and I take great enjoyment in mentoring and developing new colleagues as well as learning new concepts , innovations , ideas and ways of thinking from others and the world around me. My understanding of available technologies within the Intralogisitcs industry is extensive from high level software and controls through to the mechanical machinery needed to physically complete the business objective.
